Happy Valentine's Day!
I thought today's post was perfect for this LOVEly holiday
as it has a Valentine's theme!
Over the weekend my mom opened the doors
to her new scrapbooking/paper supply
shop in Gardner, KS
and I mentioned
here that she hired me to do the grand opening!
Being that she was opening so close to Valentine's Day
and the shop was already decked out in v-day papers & ribbons
we stuck with that theme and went with
a pink & white color scheme with touches of red & aqua.

I hung paper lanterns & paper hearts that I had stitched on
over the window and made an envelope banner
out of cardstock & heart shaped doilies.

And glittered the clothespins of course.

These
AMAZING Valentine's cookies are by a new girl
{Icings by Ang}
that I tried out for the event and I was NOT disappointed!!
They were SO perfect for the event - and delicious too!

Oreo Cakersters rolled in sprinkles and piped with frosting hearts.
Easy! :)

Heart shaped cream cheese, sundried tomato & pesto layered dip.
I just pressed all the layers into a greased cookie cutter
and refrigerated overnight!

My new
sister-in-law getting some coffee. :)

Gotta have blue mason jars, of course!

My mom sells these spools of bakers twine in her shop
as well as the adorable heart pins.

I made the little flags with inspirational words and stuck them in cardstock.

Love this little tiered dish!

These hershey kiss labels were found
here - so perfect!

This is raspberry pepper jelly over heart shaped cream cheese. :)

Pink lemonade with strawberries!

A little heart banner I stitched using scrapbook paper from the shop.
It's taped to the front of the register counter.

The giveaway table...

I stitched pink doilies together that I found
in the Michael's dollar section to make a table runner.
I might be stealing this. ;)

The giveaway sign I made and $3 walmart frame,
painted and distressed. :)

My mom {left} and her store manager {right}!
This was such a fun event to plan
and I'm SO glad I was not having a baby instead of setting it up! :)
