Well, I have recently rediscovered my love
for hand-printing
and have been trying to challenge myself
with how detailed I can go.
I'm actually quite excited about how some of my recent projects
have turned out...
...and am even toying with the idea of this place...

Day 1

My friend Emily had this great idea
to take pictures of you and your kids each day this week
since us mamas are always behind the lens.
And by the looks of my blog,
its obvious that I don't like pictures of myself,
but I totally get what Emily is saying and do
{reluctantly} agree with her.
So I'm going to do my best to remember
to take a photo each day this week
of me and whatever child/children I can get to cooperate
{today it was Jett, since his lack of mobility leaves him with little choice :) }.
I would also like to add
that I do not have a
super-cool fancy slr canon d nikon etc etc camera
like every other mom {it seems like}
and that I'm trying to get better at using natural light.

baby shower love.

My dear friend Allyson

has been through a very traumatic few weeks
but on Sunday we got to spend the afternoon
celebrating her and her
sweet baby boy{s}.
The occasion definitely called for some homemade love.
So this is what I came up with.

The paci clip was definitely
an experiment but now that it works
I think my little man needs one too.
Speaking of my little man...

...here he is in all his 3 1/2 month glory.
